Windows disk cleanup causes a "compressed (zipped folder)" prompt Have you tried deleting Temp files and Temporary Internet File in case you have a partially completed (downloaded or copied) zipfile? What happens if you search for *.zip? Perhaps if Search completes, and you do not have many files you could remove them of the hard drive and store them on CD or elsewhere and see if WinZip can open them?
RE: please insert the last disk of a multi volume set harebrain (MIS) 17 Apr 08 17:17Īre the running applications which perform a Search function coming across corrupted zipfiles? Would something in computer management point to the supposedly incomplete program? What I need to figure out is the identity of the "multi volume set". I was careful to avoid the "install on first use" option on all programs. I have not zipped anything and unzipped only a few apps that I had to download to replace others. I have unzipped a few apps (Clipmate, for instance) which I had saved as zip files for a case like this.
ITHENTICATE PRICE INSTALL
I did not to the best of my knowledge install any multi volume software. It seems mostly related to desktop (IE, user/desktop.etc) issues: Creating a folder, copying to the desktop, whatever, but also comes doing system search.
ITHENTICATE PRICE FULL VERSION
After my nifty XP64 system blew up* three days ago I put in a new MB and decided to install XP (drivers) rather than the full version Vista Pro I have sitting in a drawer.Install went well and nearly all files and apps are on it, but the above Zip error message appears more or less randomly and can't be recreated by any particular action.
